Annotation
Graduates have theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of medicines, ranging from their synthesis and evaluation in the laboratory to their rational use in patients. They are ready to practise the regulated profession of pharmacist in accordance with Act No. 95/2004 Coll. on medical professions. They are competent to provide pharmaceutical care in accordance with Act No. 372/2011 Coll., on health services, as well as activities that go beyond the provision of health services, particularly in the areas of research, development, preparation, manufacturing, distribution, and analysis of medicines. They are familiar with the full range of ethical, legal, social, and economic aspects of pharmacy and drug policy and are able to evaluate and interpret information about medicines.
